A Midlands recruitment firm is celebrating its third birthday after a period of sustained growth that has seen it create new jobs, expand into new sectors and strengthen its presence across the UK. Pineapple Recruitment, which specialises in recruiting talent for the catering, hospitality, finance and HR, and education sectors, launched in 2023 and has since gone on to employ over 10 recruitment specialists. The company’s growth led to a move to larger offices in Worcester city centre in October 2024. Within its first three years the firm has successfully placed over 2,000 people into a variety of permanent roles, whilst also expanding its services with the launch of two new dedicated divisions: Finance and HR and Education. The business has also continued to grow its client base nationwide, supporting businesses of all sizes to attract and retain skilled professionals.
Kasia Krieger, Director at Pineapple Recruitment said: “It’s well known how tough the recruitment sector has been over the past few years, so we are delighted to be celebrating not only our third birthday but also providing career opportunities and expanding outside of our traditional catering and hospitality specialisms and into finance and HR and education. It’s a really special milestone for us.
“Overall, more and more businesses are putting their trust in us to find the best and most qualified professionals to support their own growth plans which rely on the right recruitment and attraction strategies.
“To have that growing client base across the UK gives us a wonderful foundation for the next three years, by which time we want to add more jobs and increase our national footprint.” Ms Krieger added in the next few months the firm is planning another move to larger offices in Worcester to accommodate its ongoing growth, which includes plans to recruit further into the team.
The move is expected to be rubber-stamped and announced by the firm before the end of the year.

Editorial insight
Pineapple Recruitment’s third anniversary comes at a time when many regional recruiters have faced challenging conditions, with skills shortages and shifting client demands continuing to test the sector. The firm’s expansion into finance, HR, and education, alongside its original focus on catering and hospitality, underlines a strategy of diversification that is increasingly common among recruitment businesses seeking to broaden their client base and reduce sector risk.
For employers and jobseekers in the Midlands and beyond, the firm’s continued growth may offer additional options at a time when competition for talent remains high in several industries. The move to larger premises in Worcester signals ongoing investment in local operations, with further recruitment planned to support its expanding service lines and national reach.
