Lowmoor Nursing Home in Kirkby-in-Ashfield hosted a free Blue Light Breakfast on 5 June 2026 to thank Blue Light Card holders, including NHS and emergency service workers, for their service. The event, attended by local MP Lee Anderson, aimed to show appreciation for frontline workers who support the community. The nursing home, part of the family-run Lidder Care, has been a community fixture for over 30 years, providing specialist care services.
