Black Introvert Week UK (BIWUK) is proud to announce its signature event for 2025, “Unmuted: Amplifying Black Introvert Voices.” This landmark panel discussion will bring together prominent figures in psychology, storytelling, and leadership to celebrate and explore the profound impact of quiet influence within the Black community.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Kubrick Group Building in London. Designed as an intimate gathering for 50 attendees, “Unmuted” aims to foster deep, meaningful conversations and authentic connections, providing a unique platform for Black introverted voices.
Featured speakers include:
- Maame Afua Nikabs: Clinical psychologist and advocate for emotional resilience.
- Beatrice Ngalula Kabutakapua: Storytelling expert and leadership coach.
- Amira Williams: Workplace inclusion strategist.
- Grant Harris: Introvert coach and author.
Richard Etienne, founder of The Introvert Space™ and the visionary behind Black Introvert Week UK, emphasised the event’s significance: “Far too often, introversion is mistakenly perceived as a weakness. Black Introvert Week UK was established to challenge this narrative and illuminate the immense strength, creativity, and leadership inherent in Black introverts. ‘Unmuted’ is about creating a vital space where our community can be truly seen, genuinely heard, and celebrated on our own terms.”
This event marks a significant milestone for BIWUK, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where the contributions of Black introverts are recognised and valued. It provides a crucial forum for dialogue, networking, and empowerment.
Tickets are highly limited to ensure an intimate experience and are available now via Eventbrite: https://blackintrovertweekuk2025.eventbrite.co.uk.
