Northamptonshire Comedian Nick Stoppani to Reunite with Life-Size Voodoo Doll at Museum of Curiosities

Northamptonshire’s own comedian, Nick Stoppani, will be making a special appearance at the Museum of Curiosities on Tuesday 9 September at 2pm, where he will be reunited with the infamous life-size voodoo doll that he danced with on an episode of Daz’s Ghost Hunt (Daz Games, YouTube).

This visit marks an exciting step in what Nick describes as his most ambitious project to date - the creation of a brand-new stage show, blending comedy, music, and audience participation, which he plans to debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2026.

Nick’s unforgettable dance with the voodoo doll sparked plenty of giggles and quickly became a fan favourite. Inspired by the reaction, Nick is now writing a sketch featuring the very same doll for his live show. Thanks to the generosity of Steve, the owner of the Museum of Curiosities, the original voodoo doll will be loaned to Nick as part of his show.

Speaking about the project, Nick said:

“The voodoo doll moment was so much fun and got such a great response - I can’t wait to bring it to life on stage. I’m hugely grateful to Steve for trusting me with such a unique piece.”

Nick’s show promises to be an interactive, high-energy experience, showcasing his trademark humour and flair for the unexpected.

Putting on a show at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe is no easy feat, so Nick has launched a GoFundMe, available at nickatthefringe.co.uk

Nick added:

“I can’t wait to be performing in Edinburgh at the Fringe - the place where dreams are born, careers are made, and bank accounts are absolutely destroyed. From the bonkers ideas in my head to a bonkers show on stage, right through to the reviews - let’s make history… or at the very least, some very funny mistakes!”
